VQ Engine
The Nissan VQ engine series has made Ward’s 10 Best Engines list for 14 years in a row.
VQ25DE engine / VQ35DE engine
Power is supplied by a choice of two V6 engines, the VQ35 or the VQ25. Each provides quick
response, smooth acceleration and an abundance of low- and mid-range torque and high-end power.
New intake systems and a six-point engine mounting help to minimise noise.
MR20DE engine
The new, lighter MR20 engine provides excellent torque in the low- and mid-RPM range,
while offering outstanding fuel efficiency for its class.
Xtronic CVT
In tandem with each of TEANA’s high-performance engines, Xtronic CVT delivers faster processing
speeds, reduced friction, wider gear ratios and enhanced fuel economy. The new CVT control unit
analyses speed and cornering, driver intention and incline, then applies Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) logic
to choose the best shift patterns for naturally precise shifting. The 350XV features new Xtronic CVT with
6-speed manual mode.
Refined suspension
