Nissan Euro IV Commercial Vehicles Make a Comeback with Stronger Line-up |
|
| |
|
Tan Chong Motor Sales today announced the
comeback of its popular Nissan commercial
vehicles – all new Nissan Urvan and Nissan Cabstar
with a stronger line-up, in total compliance with Euro
IV emission standards.
“Our customers waited more than a year for them to
arrive. We are glad we could deliver to them now,
and even offer a wider range than previously. The
new models we offer our customers in Singapore are
specifically manufactured by Nissan to comply with
the EURO IV standards and regulations set by the
authorities,” said Mr A C Neo, Marketing Director of
Tan Chong Motor Sales Pte Ltd, Nissan’s authorised
distributor in Singapore.
“Nissan has always been a leader in the commercial
vehicle segment and we are confident that this new
batch of EURO IV compliant models will offer our
customers more and better choices in this
segment,” Mr Neo disclosed.
Mr Neo also explained that some of these business
owners know and understand Nissan trucks and vans
very well and would rather delay their purchase for
Tan Chong’s stock arrival this year.
Nissan Cabstar had been Singapore’s best-selling
light truck for many years. Recently, this new
generation Cabstar also won the “Best Light Truck of
the Year” in England. The Nissan Cabstar, with a
selling price (with COE) of around at $60,000, is
expected to be delivered soon.
Delivery of the Nissan Urvan has already begun.
Urvan Panel Van buyers are happy that with the
recent HDB car parking rule revision, they can now
enjoy $65 season parking under HDB car parks.
Nissan Urvan variants include:
• Panel Van [(Standard Wheelbase, SWB)
and (Long Wheelbase, LWB)] to carry goods
• Microbus (Long Wheelbase, LWB) to
ferry passengers
Known for its biggest cargo space in its class, all
Panel Van variants are 5-door and are offered with
SWB or LWB selection and choice of either manual
or automatic transmissions, while Microbus variants
are 4-door with manual or automatic transmission.
With these, it is probably the widest variant
selection offered for any vans in Singapore.
