More cash for Nissan owners in second draw of Nissan’s
$300,000 Cash Windfall campaign
They were definitely no strangers to Nissan’s
highly-anticipated $300,000 Cash Windfall campaign when they
became new Nissan car owners. On 17 December 2009, three
lucky customers joined the growing group of Nissan car
owners driving away with over $56,000 in cold, hard cash.
The first of two ladies driving away with a new car and a
whole lot of cash, Ms. Lynn Tan, 33, exclaimed, “I thought
it was a prank call at first, but when my car agent called
me to congratulate me on winning the first prize of $28,888,
I almost went crazy in the train on the way home!” When
asked to share about her plans for the prize money, the
proud owner of a brand-new Nissan March said, “I will share
it with my family and donate a portion to charitable
organisations as well.”
First runner-up, Ms. Goh Siew Hiang, 46, winner of $18,888
in cash said, “I was completely shocked when I found out
about my win! This is my fourth Nissan car so far and I’m
impressed by Nissan Sylphy’s foot brakes and keyless
features which are both very important to me.”
Mr. Tan Chong Hian, 56, who found out about his win of
$8,888 during his holiday in Vietnam, said, “It’s the best
Christmas gift I can ever ask for!” He revealed that
although it was the Sylphy’s spacious interior that
attracted him, the definite push factor was Tan Chong’s
excellent after-sales service.
Tan Chong has given out more than $100,000 worth of prizes
since the start of the “Nissan $300,000 Cash Windfall”
campaign in October. More cash prizes await privileged new
Nissan car owners, including an exciting windfall of $88,888
in a bonus draw in February 2010.
Mr. Ron Lim, General Manager, Sales and Marketing of Tan
Chong Motor Sales said, “We are extremely excited to give
away these wonderful cash prizes to our valued customers
this festive season and we hope we’ve brought them immense
joy this Christmas!”

Lucky Singaporeans
win big in first draw of Nissan’s $300,000 Cash Windfall campaign
Singapore, 20 November 2009 – Being in the know certainly paid off for three
new Nissan car owners. In the first of four draws for “It’s a Crime
to Ignore Nissan’s $300,000 Cash Windfall” campaign, three customers
walked away with over $56,000 in cold, hard cash.
Coincidentally, all winners turned out to be new owners of the Nissan Latio
in the popular Amethyst Grey colour.
First prize winner, Mr. Sito Wai Kwong, 55, proud owner of his new
Nissan Latio Premium said, “I'm still trying to believe that I'm the
first winner of the Nissan $300,000 Cash Windfall! I bought the Nissan Latio Premium
because I enjoyed my previous Nissan Latio very much, and was impressed by what the
Premium could offer. I never expected to win $28,888, thank you Tan Chong!”
While the happy winner
has not made any big decisions about how he will be celebrating his
huge windfall, he knows he's going to save up the cash and enjoy it
in the future.
Winner of the second prize of $18,888, Mr. Teoh Thiam Beng, 32, said,
“I’m really thrilled because this is the best early Christmas gift
ever!” On why he decided to buy a Nissan car, he said, "I’ve
heard many positive things about Nissan from my friends and colleagues,
and they all agree that the brand offers reliable and well-built cars.
Also, I was attracted to the Latio Sport because the exterior design
of the hatchback looks simply awesome!”
The campaign, which is
on-going, saw Tan Chong Motor’s Sergeant Kam Liat Yu
venturing into central business districts, heartlands and Singapore’s
main shopping belt to “issue fines” to people who were unaware about
the promotion as part of its guerrilla stunt.
Mr. Ron Lim, General
Manager, Sales and Marketing of Tan Chong Motor Sales said, “We are
extremely excited by the level of enthusiasm and interest displayed
by our customers. Sergeant Kam Liat Yu certainly caused a stir and since
the launch of the campaign in October, we have received encouraging
response and we’re definitely seeing more traffic in our showrooms.
Tan Chong Motor will continue to actively engage our customers with
similar promotions!”
The closing date to qualify
for the campaign’s second draw is on 9 December 2009.
