ACTIVE HEAD RESTRAINTS

Equipped as standard for the driver and front-seat passenger, active head restraints tilt forward instantly in a collision to support the head and thus help to prevent whiplash injury.

ABS & BRAKE ASSIST (ABS)

ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) optimizes braking performance and maintaining stable directional control, especially in emergency situations and on slippery surfaces.

BA (Brake Assist) System applies additional stopping power by activating ABS in hard or panic braking situations.

EBD

While the weight of more passengers and cargo inevitably increase braking distance, the Qashqai's EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution) system serves to reduce the braking distance by sensing the load carried and redistributing the braking force in the front and rear for more effective braking.

XENON HEADLAMPS

The Qashqai Premium model comes with powerful Xenon headlamps that provides more intensity while the Qashqai featuers halogen headlamps.

CRUSHABLE ZONE

Nissan's zone body construction provides a high strength cabin safety zone dedicated to passenger protection.

SRS AIRBAG

The Qashqai is equipped with dual SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) airbags that help to reduce the risk of injury resulting from an impact.
