XTRONIC CVT

The Qashqai is fitted with Nissan's Xtronic CVT M6, a continuously variable transmission with a six-speed manual shift mode. It comes with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) function adjusts shift timing according to the driver's personal driving style and driving environment, optimizing both performance and fuel economy.

ALL MODE 4x4®

Unlike other automatic four-wheel drive systems, ALL MODE uses advanced electronics instead of hydraulic pumps.

This ensures the drive is transferred between wheels and axels the instant the need arises for secure and relaxed driving however severe the conditions.

Select economical 2WD or 4WD as needed with AUTO, or fixed-ratio 4WD LOCK for traction.

SUSPENSION

Advanced simulation programs, such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), helped NISSAN engineers to optimize the Qashqai+2's aerodynamics to achieve an excellent constant drag (CD) rating of 0.35 for better fuel efficiency and reduced wind noise.
