WORK SAFETY
At Nissan, we believe in providing a high level of safety that allows passengers peace of mind. This is reflected in our "Triple Safety" initiative. There's "Information Safety" to forewarn the drive, "Control Safety" to assist driving behaviour to avoid accidents and "Impact Safety" which acts to help reduce injury in accidents. HEADLAMPS
Urvan's large, bright headlamps employ transparent lenses to enhance light distribution for improved night time visibility and easier driving. A manual headlamp levelizer is provided to compensate for deviation of the optical axes.
REAR WIPER
The rear wiper works with the rear under mirror and rear defogger to improve rear visibility during bad weather conditions and greater safety when reversing.
FOG LAMPS
Integrated fog lamps are low-mounted to get under fog for greater illumination.
ABS & BRAKE ASSIST
ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) optimizes braking performance and maintaining stable directional control, especially in emergency situations and on slippery surfaces.
LSV
The LSV (Load Sensing Valve) automatically senses total load and weight distribution and optimizes the balance in brake pressure between the front disc and rear drum brakes, to give reliable braking whether Urvan is full or empty.
CRUSHABLE ZONE
Front Crushable Zone of the Urvan absorbs impact energy in a frontal collision. Even in a frontal crash test, cabin space is safely maintained, preserving leg space and allowing the doors to be opened for a quick exit to safety.
SRS AIRBAGS
Together with seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters, the driver’s SRS Airbags help to reduce the risk of injury from an impact.
